Being on a quest to travel to every country in the world involves careful planning and keeping track of each destination as I work toward that goal.

While I focus on adding to the count, my travels are never without intention. I organize each journey around what excites and inspires me most, whether it’s diving deep into a culture or experiencing the highlights of a place in a single day. Sometimes I travel alone, immersing myself in personal discovery; other times, I share the journey with a friend, my husband, or my children, creating memories as diverse as the places we visit. Whether it’s a road trip across winding landscapes or a flight to a distant country, every decision is deliberate and part of the bigger picture: shaping my unique path to explore the world in its entirety.

The first number represents the independent countries I’ve visited according to the United Nations, while the second includes both UN countries (195) and territories (200-300). The third tracks the number of continents I’ve set foot on, and the fourth is just for fun: the total number of hours I’ve spent on a flight since I started counting in 2021. Because sometimes, the journey is just as fascinating as the destination!
